Experience/Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a bias in marketing.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Marketing and/or Communication preferably in an FMCG.
• Proven competence in Brand/ product building, promotion, and retailing with demonstrated evolved thinking in relation to digital, design and branding.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams with strong conceptual and innovative skills.
• Ability to think strategically with strong interpersonal skills.
• Business development knowledge and experience is an advantage.

Main Objective
• Provide leadership and bear responsibility for delivering the company’s marketing ambition in service of the strong performance, visibility and reputation of its products and services.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Support execution of marketing communications, sales and promotional campaigns for all products.
• Contribute to insights into the advertising and promotion budget. Ensure that it is in line with the Long-Term Plan.
• Follow up on agreed external creative media agencies and supervise delivery of their work as per agreed KPIs.
• Work with all departments for content that feeds into the marketing strategy in all activities.
• Coordinate organization of internal and external marketing events. Keep updated checklists for each event.
• Use approved briefing templates for all briefings with suppliers and ensure they are shared in a timely manner.
• Ensure all marketing campaigns and communication support is aligned to the marketing plan and artwork received back is in line with all group style (brand) guidelines.
• Enhance brand visibility on service stations and other business areas (BTL).
• Execute site opening kit, promotional norms and standards support to all business sites e.g service stations.
• Monitor and deploy promotional and marketing elements at a site level i.e. Flags, posters etc and keep a record of these elements and develop as well as maintain a database of marketing elements available at the business points.
• Enhance customer relations & customer journey capitalizing on the Business systems & digital tools.
• Co-ordinate all marketing activities and communications across all business streams, Total Card, Lubricants, LPG, Solar and Brand Campaigns.
