Role Overview

As a Marketeer at BOOKA CONCEPTS LIMITED, you will play a crucial role in promoting our air conditioning and refrigeration services. This part-time position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Wandegeya, Kampala, where you will work closely with the Owner (MD) and be part of a dynamic team. We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual who thrives in a competitive environment and is eager to contribute to our mission.

Position Details

•  Employment Type: Part-time
•  Location: Wandegeya, Kampala
•  Reporting Structure: Reports to Owner (MD)
•  Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

1. Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.

2. Visit establishments to evaluate needs or promote product or service sales.

3. Sell service contracts for technical or scientific products.

4. Maintain customer records using automated systems.

5. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.

6. Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

•  Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Marketing and Sales or other related fields.
•  Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing or sales.
•  Required Skills: Speaking, Persuasion, Social Perceptiveness, Writing, Critical Thinking.
•  Required Knowledge Areas: Customer and Personal Service, Sales and Marketing, Administration and Management, Computers and Electronics.
•  Language Proficiency: English and Luganda.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Preferred Responsibilities: Compute customer’s installation or production costs and estimate savings from new services, products, or equipment; Demonstrate the operation or use of technical or scientific products.
•  Additional Skills: Complex Problem Solving, Judgment and Decision Making, Time Management.
•  Additional Knowledge Areas: Mathematics, Production and Processing.
