Job Purpose
The Life Assurance Sales Team Leader is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales agents to drive business growth for ICEA Lion Life Assurance. The role holder will organize and lead field sales activities, build new markets, and ensure the team consistently meets set sales targets while maintaining full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruit, train, and build a high-performing sales team of agents.
• Organize, coordinate, and actively participate in field sales activities.
• Create and develop new markets, worksites, and opportunities for group presentations as required.
• Ensure the sales team consistently meets and exceeds company-set sales targets.
• Train, coach, mentor, and motivate sales agents to maximize individual and team performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of agents for reporting and future reference.
• Ensure all agents within the team comply with relevant insurance regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily performance reports to management.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• A Degree or Diploma in a related field.
• At least one (1) year of experience in team management.
• A Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance is an added advantage.
