We are seeking for a Legal adviser.
Designation: Legal Adviser
Main Purpose:
To provide excellent strategic legal guidance to ensure that Kaazi BC's operations comply with applicable laws and regulatory frameworks in Uganda and beyond.

- Legal Representation
- Business Structuring & Governance
- Legal Compliance & Risk Management
- Advisory on Regulatory & Licensing Issues
- Draft and review M.o.Us, partnership agreements and contracts, leases.
- Advising Kaazi BC on compliance with local, national, and international business laws.
- Advocating for Kaazi BC's interests during meetings with the partners or third parties.
- Represent or advise Kaazi BC in negotiations or legal proceedings when needed.
- Representing Kaazi BC in Legal Matter negotiations, mediations, or arbitrations.
- Review and negotiate agreements, contracts, Partnership or MoU and NDAs.
- Ensure compliance with Uganda’s Companies Act and URSB regulations.
- Advising on employee contracts, terminations, and workplace disputes.
- Provide ongoing legal advice on all Kaazi BC Company operations.
- Attend board or strategic meetings as needed to offer legal input.
Skills
- Risk Assessment & Legal Strategy
- Well versed with Labour & Employment Law Skills in mediation, negotiation, arbitration and guiding litigation.
- Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and MoUs
- Familiarity with URSB, URA, PPDA, NEMA, and sector-specific compliance.
- High ethical standards and reliability when handling sensitive legal matters.
- Assisting in resolving conflicts through negotiation or mediation.
- Handle the Company Intellectual Property (IP) Protection
- Train Kaazi BC staff on legal matters.
- Able to secure and defend Kaazi BC’s trademarks, copyrights, and creative content.
- Knowledge of company law, shareholder rights and business structuring under Ugandan law.
- Comfortable using legal tech tools, digital document management, and online filing systems.
