Purpose of Job:

To prepare samples for geochemical and palynological analysis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities.

• • Storing of geological samples in the core store. ii. Assisting in the maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment.
  • Preparing geochemical and palynological samples for analysis.
  • Participating in the analysis of geochemical and bio stratigraphic data
  • Participating field sampling/survey programs
  • Participating in management of Geochemical and palynological data.
  • Assisting in maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Person Specifications

Qualifications

Ordinary Diploma in Laboratory technology, Geological, Geochemical Sciences or any other related discipline from a recognized training institution/University.

Experience

No experience required.
