About Organisation:

Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA) is a Statutory Government Agency established by the Free Zones (Amendment) Act 30 of 2024, and is responsible for the establishment, development, management, marketing, maintenance, supervision and control of Free Zones; the development, promotion and coordination of all export-related activities; and to provide for related matters.

Job Summary: To provide technical support in the promotion of Special Economic Zones.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guide investors to secure authorizations and services for licensed/registered projects
• Conduct research to promote Free Zones
• Undertake development and management of Free Zones
• Attract new investments in Free Zones
• Appraise investments and provide due diligence technical advice
• Monitor and supervise activities of free zone operators

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Honors Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, International Trade, Law or Social Sciences
