JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation standards in guest rooms, common areas, or private residences. Your goal is to create a healthy, welcoming environment for guests or occupants.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Rooms (Hotel/Resort context):

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms: sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, floors.
• Make beds with fresh linens and fluff pillows.
• Dust and wipe all furniture, ledges, baseboards, and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors, and remove trash.
• Replenish supplies: toiletries, towels, coffee kits, notepads, tissues.
• Inspect rooms for damages, stains, or lost & found items; report to supervisor.
• Respond to guest requests (extra towels, blankets, toiletries) within 15 minutes.
• Follow strict safety protocols for chemical handling and bloodborne pathogens.

Common Areas / Residences:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum hallways, lobbies, elevators, and lounges.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Restock paper supplies in public restrooms.
• Report maintenance issues (leaks, broken lights, loose railings).

Qualifications & Skills

• No formal degree required; high school diploma is a plus.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred (hotel, office, or residential).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper dilution, and storage (MSDS).
• Physical stamina to bend, kneel, push/pull carts (up to 50 lbs), and stand all shift.
• Trustworthy and respectful of guest privacy and property.
• Ability to follow checklists and work independently.
