Role Overview:
The Head Teacher manages a primary or secondary school in the district, ensuring effective teaching, learning, and administration while promoting a conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage school operations, including staff supervision and student discipline.
• Oversee the implementation of the curriculum and monitor teaching standards.
• Prepare school budgets, work plans, and reports for submission to the District Education Officer.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of school facilities and resources.
• Promote co-curricular activities, such as sports and clubs, to enhance student development.
• Engage parents and the community in school activities and development.
• Address welfare issues for students and staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a Bachelor’s Degree with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.
• At least 6 years of teaching experience, with 3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Deputy Head Teacher).
• Must be registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
