Head of Finance 

Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Head of Finance to oversee financial operations, regulatory reporting, and compliance within our fintech business.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Utilize financial systems such as NetSuite, Sage, and Power BI to automate reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Oversee statutory reporting to the Bank of Uganda in line with the National Payment Systems Act.
• Manage Uganda Revenue Authority tax filings and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and strengthen internal financial controls.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Fully certified CPA (U) or ACCA member.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting or finance experience.
• At least 3 years in a financial reporting or compliance leadership role.
• Experience within fintech, banking, telecommunications, or another regulated financial environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, auditing, compliance, and financial systems.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
