Description
Job Title: Forex Bureau Manager
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening/closing, teller balancing, and system management
Trading & Treasury: Manage foreign currency buying/selling, monitor exchange rates, and optimize liquidity.
Compliance & Risk: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls, and audit procedures.
Team Leadership: Supervise staff, manage performance, and foster a positive customer service environment.
Business Growth: Develop strategies to increase transaction volumes, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in forex operations, banking, or financial services, with prior management experience preferred.
Skills: Strong numerical accuracy, proficiency in cash management software, and excellent negotiation/communication skills.
Attributes: High integrity, ability to work under pressure, and strong leadership skills
