Job Summary
The Volunteer Field Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between the field office, local partners, and the central management team. He/she will oversee field implementation of Avajan’s programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs. The coordinator will play a critical role in community mobilization.

Job Description/Requirements
a. Program Implementation & Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of Avajan programs in inclusive education, climate-smart agriculture, livelihoods, religious support, peacebuilding, advocacy, and healthcare support.
- Ensure program activities are implemented on time, within scope, and budget.
- Supervise and support field facilitators, volunteers, and community-based workers.
- Identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities in program implementation and provide timely solutions.
b. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Collect and compile data for program monitoring and evaluation.
- Contribute to the development of periodic field reports, case studies, and success stories.
- Participate in needs assessments, baseline surveys, and community feedback sessions.
c. Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
- Represent Avajan at community, local government, and inter-agency coordination meetings as needed.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with community leaders, religious institutions, local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all activities are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and conflict-sensitive.
d. Administrative & Logistical Support
- Support logistical planning for training, workshops, and outreach activities.
- Maintain organized records of program activities, beneficiary data, and communications.
- Monitor the use and condition of project assets and materials in the field.
