| PURPOSE OF THE JOB |
| To ensure that all machinery and equipment in the factory are operating efficiently and safely. |
| Responsibility |
| To conduct repairs, maintenance, welding and fabrication of equipment at factory to ensure smooth running of the production process. |
| Perform safety checks and inspections on factory machines and equipment to ensure compliance with all the industrial regulations. |
| To aid in machine operation and training on Standard Operating Procedures. |
| To assist in the installation and assembling of new machinery and equipment. |
| To prepare and maintain records of repairs and maintenance for all machines at the factory to aid in decision making. |
| Any other roles added from time to time concerning departmental objectives. |

| Geographical scope | Uganda |
| Qualifications | Diploma in mechanical engineering, welding or any other related field. |
| Proven experience as a factory mechanic, and hands on experience with industrial machinery repairs, and mechanical systems is an added advantage |
| Experience | 2-3 years’ experience in the same role. |
| Proficiency in computer skills |
| Languages | Proficiency in spoken and written English |
| SPECIAL CONDITIONS |
| The role may require working in shifts depending on the factory’s production schedule |
