Key Responsibilities:

• Head the engineering department in the district.
• Supervise construction and maintenance of infrastructure (roads, buildings, water).
• Provide technical guidance to lower local governments.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and procurement procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a registered engineer with the Engineers Registration Board.
• At least 6 years of professional experience, 3 of which at a senior level.

1. Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacant posts that exist in Namisindwa District Local Government.
2. Applications should be in triplicate on PSC Forms 2008 submitted to the Secretary District Service Commission, P. O. Box 335, Mbale.
