Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing & Public Relations Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies and public relations activities to enhance the hotel's brand visibility, reputation, and online presence. This role requires a highly creative individual with strong communication skills, digital expertise, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Manage the hotel’s website content, SEO, and performance analytics.
- Oversee email marketing campaigns and e-newsletters targeting various market segments.
- Analyze digital metrics and produce performance reports, using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.
- Coordinate with photographers/videographers for content creation aligned with brand standards.
- Manage online listings, including OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, TripAdvisor), ensuring accurate and optimized content.
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging social media content.
- Monitor, respond to, and manage guest interactions and reviews across platforms.
- Collaborate with influencers and content creators for promotional partnerships.
- Keep up with social trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
Public Relations
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and newsletters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and international media houses.
- Organize media events, press conferences, and hotel launches.
- Represent the hotel at local events, tourism expos, and trade shows.
- Support crisis communication and reputation management strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing and PR, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and digital ad campaigns.
- Familiarity with CMS (e.g., WordPress), SEO tools, and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
