JOB VACANCY – COOK

Safari Investments Limited is seeking to recruit a competent, disciplined, and experienced Cook to join our team at Safari Restaurant, Busia.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
• Manage food preparation, storage, and stock to minimize wastage.
• Ensure the kitchen and cooking equipment are kept clean and organized.
• Work effectively with other staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Perform any other duties assigned by  management.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Catering, Hotel Management, or a related field is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years' experience as a cook in a restaurant, hotel, or similar establishment.
• Knowledge of Ugandan local dishes and fast foods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Honest, reliable, hardworking, and able to work under minimum supervision.

Safari Restaurant, Safari Business Complex, Namutere, Busia District
