CHEF – GAYAZA BRANCH

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to prepare quality meals consistently.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Honest, reliable, and a good team player.
• Ability to manage kitchen supplies and participate in stock taking.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Prepare and cook meals according to Breen Cafe standards.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures.
• Conduct regular stock taking and monitor kitchen inventory.
• Track usage of ingredients and report shortages or wastage.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food supplies.
• Manage kitchen supplies and minimize food wastage.
• Work closely with other staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in creating and improving menu items where necessary.
