OPEN POSITIONS

(Focus: Financial transaction processing, cash handling, receipting, and daily reconciliation)

• Payment Processing: Receive and process payments through various channels, including cash, mobile money (M-Pesa), POS,  bank transfers, and cheques .
• Receipting: Issue official, stamped receipts for all transactions immediately upon receipt of payment .
• Daily Cash Reconciliation: Balance daily cash collections against the system, prepare daily shift reconciliation reports, and maintain adequate cash float .
• Cash Security: Safeguard all cash, cheques, and negotiable instruments, ensuring timely banking of collections .
• Financial Controls: Verify that all transactions are supported by authorized documentation and adhere to internal financial policies and controls .
• Discrepancy Reporting: Report any cash shortages, discrepancies, or suspected fraud immediately to the supervisor .
• Record Management: Maintain organized filing of receipts and transaction documents and prepare daily, weekly, or monthly cashier reports .
