The Business Development Manager (Franchise) will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new franchise opportunities to expand Ai-Cha’s market presence in uganda. This role ensures alignment with the company’s growth strategy, focusing on building sustainable franchise partnerships that drive revenue and brand visibility.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities 1. Franchise Acquisition & Expansion
- Identify and engage potential franchise partners in target markets.
- Manage end-to-end franchise development process, including prospecting, pitching, negotiations, and onboarding.
- Conduct market analysis to evaluate demand and potential for new outlets.
2. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective franchisees.
- Act as the main point of contact to ensure franchisee compliance with company standards.
- Provide business advisory support to franchise partners to maximise profitability.
3. Strategic Planning & Growth
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve franchise growth targets.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to support franchise rollout.
- Prepare and present regular reports on franchise performance and pipeline.
4. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure franchisees adhere to brand standards, policies, and operational procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate franchise performance to uphold company quality standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s and Chinese language proficiency is an added advantage).
- 3–5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or franchise management.
- Proven track record in negotiating and closing partnership or franchise deals.
- Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Market knowledge and ability to analyse trends in the food & beverage sector.
- Ability to work independently and travel within the region.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary between 2.6M UGX and 3M UGX
- Commission on every closed franchise deal, providing strong earning potential linked to performance.
