Based in Austin, TX, Upper Echelon Products© (“UEP”) is a data-centric consumer products firm specializing in a diverse range of branded items distributed via eCommerce platforms. UEP exclusively manufactures and distributes Repel® and Rain-Mate® umbrellas, Everlasting Comfort® memory foam products, electronic gadgets, and bedding essentials, as well as Le Chateau® wine decanters, Café du Chateau® coffee makers, LumiLux Toilet Light®, Triton® dog leashes, and Flux Phenom® magnetic screen doors.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Amazon Catalog Manager with a robust background in Amazon Seller Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Amazon's marketplace, policies, and best practices, and have a proven track record of managing and optimizing seller accounts. This role involves handling day-to-day account management, resolving complex issues, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and enhance customer satisfaction. The Amazon Catalog Manager will ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adding/removing products to catalog
- Creating/fixing content for the products already in the catalog with expert level experience in flat files
- Ability to edit listings in bulk
- Ability to troubleshoot error code(s) in flat files
- Creating/fixing variation themes and relationships
- Upload/managing Images (Main, Secondary, A+ content) and Video
- Analyzing, identifying, troubleshoot, and correcting errors of product listings
- Investigating Listing Quality Improvements and catalog complaints
- Listing backend enhancements such as key attributes that increase ASIN visibility
- Monitoring/managing Account Health notifications and submission of appeals when needed
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to catalog management
- Communication with Amazon support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Maintaining records of work received and work performed
- Identify improvements in the processes you work on and suggest ways of implementation
QUALIFICATIONS
- Root cause identification
- Proposal and action-oriented solutions
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably within eCommerce or digital marketplaces.
- Proven experience working with Amazon Seller Support and a deep understanding of Amazon’s platform, policies, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficient in using Amazon Seller Central and related tools.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with changes in Amazon policies and the broader eCommerce industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
