We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a qualified and experienced AI Engineer for a position in Uganda.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing AI models using image data, with a strong background in Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and object detection frameworks such as YOLO. In addition, candidates should have practical experience deploying AI models to server environments for production use. Your role will involve everything from model building to integration and deployment, ensuring our AI initiatives drive substantial business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and train AI models leveraging image data to analyze skin conditions (using CNN and YOLO models).
• Optimize and deploy AI models to server environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing computer vision models with image data.
• Experience deploying machine learning models to production servers.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with relevant AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
