Job Summary:

Supports the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and the day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain ledgers and accounts
• Prepare monthly reports and reconciliations
• Handle payroll and payments
• Support budgeting and audits

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or ACCA Level II is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience

Competencies and Skills:

• Numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organizational and reporting skills
• Knowledge of finance systems

• The Uganda National Mining Company (UNMC) was established under the Mining and Minerals Act, 2022, (Act No. 25 of 2022) and incorporated under the Companies Act 2012, (Act No.1 of 2012). UNMC is a limited liability company wholly owned by the Government of Uganda.
