Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Gold Star Battery located in Central Region, Uganda. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring financial compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping and managing financial accounts
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant degree or certification in Accounting or Finance
• Prior experience in the battery industry is a plus
