About Organisation:

Sokoni Africa Limited is a diversified enterprise with interests in the hospitality industry as well as real estate market. The company owns and operates Quality Hill mall along Ggaba Road close to the American Embassy in Kampala Uganda. It also operates a boutique hotel, Le Petit Village, a French pastry shop, La Patisserie, and a European cuisine restaurant, Le Chateau Brasserie Belge.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to users.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Assist in maintaining the Company’s IT infrastructure.
• Support user account management, email configuration, and system access.
• Perform routine system maintenance and software updates.
• Assist in maintaining data backups and ensuring data security.
• Monitor IT equipment and report faults or maintenance requirements.
• Document technical issues and resolutions.
• Support the implementation of new IT projects and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s IT policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the IT Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Must have graduated within the last two years.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and common business applications.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues is an added advantage.
