Interim Senior GL Accountant (Contract | Remote | France)

We are seeking an experienced Senior GL Accountant to provide interim coverage (2–3 months) for our clients General Ledger team supporting a number subsidiaries in France. This is a fully remote full-time contract role

Experience with Sage and French language skills are needed.

Candidates must be based in the EU/UK with right to work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support monthly close activities
• Prepare and reverse accruals
• Reconcile prepaid expenses
• Review and validate income statement accounts
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Conduct balance sheet reviews
• Support intercompany reconciliations in collaboration with international teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior GL Accountant
• Strong hands-on experience with Sage (mandatory)
• Fluent French (minimum B2 level) and English
• Strong understanding of month-end close processes and reconciliations
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
