On behalf of our client SPIRO, we are looking for a competent, skilled, experienced Asset Assurance Lead to work on site.

Job purpose:

The Asset Assurance Lead is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of asset protection, keeping the asset register, preventing revenue leakage, asset loss prevention, recovery of stolen assets and battery repossession across the organization’s network. This role should ensure the safeguarding of company assets, enforce repossession protocols, and lead a team of security and field recovery personnel (Falcon team) to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. The lead should be able to analyze the data efficiently and capable of handling large sums of data to derive the best solutions to achieve the desired results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Security Management

  • Maintain the asset register for the energy network including but not limited to batteries, chargers, Integrated racks, fixed infrastructure installed and movable assets for each swap station.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures across all sites in energy network. Ensure the theft prevention mechanism is implemented.
  • Assess the risk profile for each existing and new swap station every year.
  • Lead incident response and crisis management efforts.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and private security agencies.
  • Monitor and assess physical and digital security risks.

Battery Repossession Operations

  • Design and execute battery repossession strategies in line with contractual and legal frameworks.
  • Manage field teams responsible for repossession activities.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of repossessed assets.
  • Collaborate with legal and customer service teams to handle disputes or escalations.

Compliance & Risk Mitigation

  • Ensure all repossession and security activities comply with local laws and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
  • Maintain detailed records for internal and external reporting.
  • Does the asset count every month and analyze the gaps to mitigate and setup preventive measures to avoid reoccurrence

Team Leadership & Training

  • Recruit, train, and manage security and repossession personnel.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and ethical conduct.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching.

 

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in security management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in security operations, asset recovery, or risk management.
  • Strong understanding of repossession laws and procedures.
  • Proven leadership and crisis management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in energy, logistics, or fleet management sectors.
  • Familiarity with GPS tracking, surveillance systems, and digital asset management tools.
  • Multilingual capabilities (especially relevant to regional operations).
