Job Title: Weigh Bridge Operator

Department: Logistics / Warehouse / Operations

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Duty Station: Namanve Industrial Park

Job purpose:

The Weighbridge Operator will be responsible for accurately weighing vehicles entering and exiting the facility, maintaining proper records of materials received or dispatched, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate the weighbridge system to weigh trucks entering and leaving the facility.
• Record accurate weight measurements of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Issue weighbridge tickets, delivery notes, and dispatch documentation.
• Verify truck details, materials, and documentation before weighing.
• Maintain daily records of all vehicle movements and material quantities.
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, and logistics personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure that trucks follow site procedures and traffic regulations.
• Monitor and report discrepancies in weight, documentation, or materials.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly weighbridge reports.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the weighbridge equipment and office area.

Qualifications and Experience

• Advanced Diploma in any related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in weighbridge operations, logistics, warehouse, or transport management.
