Role
Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the bank's Retail Banking and Distribution strategy in line with organizational goals and objectives whilst ensuring that the strategy is successfully generating and contributing to business growth.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration or other relevant field.
- Membership to a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
Required Experience and Competences:
- Minimum - 10 years of experience in the Banking industry, 5 years of which must have been at Senior Management level.
- Experience must include branch management and a proven track record of developing systems and procedures in a large organisation.
- Knowledge of Ugandan banking regulations and statutory requirements.
Required Skills:
- Skills in reading and interpreting financial reports, analysing trends, financial/business management skills at a high level.
- Advanced process management skills
- Good knowledge of IT (worksheet manipulations)
- Advanced people management skills – large and diverse team
