I am an educationist and social development worker with a bias in education gender and international development. My technical know-how and experiences covers teacher training /capacity building and mentoring, community mobilization, strategic partnership and working with governments authorities, school communities, civil society organizations,
I hold a MA (EGID), Education, Gender and International Development, University of London, BA Development studies (Hons) Makerere University, Diploma in Education -Institute of Teacher Education Kyambogo, and other relevant trainings like psychosocial support.
I have successfully implemented four projects in Education with International Organizations gathering experience and the necessary skills that is an asset for this role. Currently, I work with Build Africa (Uganda), as Project Officer Implementing Improving Learning and Educational Attainment in Primary (ILEAP) project whose priority is improving early grade reading through enhanced teacher practice and school readiness. Previously I worked with Aga Khan Foundation (Uganda) as Lead Project Officer, East Africa Quality in Learning project – Amolatar District and Strengthening Education Systems in East Africa (SESEA) project, Arua District, implementing Early Grade Reading and Early Childhood Development project, International Rescue Committee, Moroto as Education Officer and Education Assistant, implementing a Livelihood, Education and Protection to End child labor project, and as a classroom teacher in a secondary school.
