JOB DETAILS:
Achelis Uganda Limited, located in Kampala Business & Industrial Park, Namanve, seeks to identify a qualified professional for the following vacancy:

Main Responsibilities:
• Take ownership and responsibility of Achelis technical services.
• Liaise with customers and team members/Technical Services Manager regarding technical service issues and requirements.

• Ensure technical services and repairs (in-house, in-field/on-site) meet company quality standards and manufacturers’ recommendations.
• Ensure operations comply with company QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.

• Oversee equipment offloading, bond storage, and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
• Provide guidance and assist in equipment assessments, repairs, training, and services for Achelis Group activities.

• Support the sales team and management with technical expertise when required.

• Provide technicians with necessary documentation for assigned jobs.
• Perform quality control of work (in-house and in-field/on-site).

• Coordinate technician assignments with the Technical Services Coordinator or Achelis Rental/Project Coordinator.

• Conduct briefings and debriefings for technicians for in-house and in-field jobs.
• Ensure timely submission of complete documentation for technical services.
• Process recommendations from technicians.
• Assist fellow technicians in the field, both in person and by phone.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided.
• Maintain a high level of expertise in customer-related equipment and facilities.
• Undertake special assignments as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Post-graduate diploma or professional certification in the same field is an added advantage.
• Proven track record in implementing strategic initiatives and driving process improvements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Experience:
• At least 5 years of post-enrollment experience in the workshop department.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Workshop Manager.
