Role Overview:
The Work-Based Learning Specialist will support the development of partnerships between women entrepreneurs and the private sector, promoting practical skills acquisition and learning through internships, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training. This position is critical in equipping women with practical skills that improve productivity and competitiveness in their enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies to link women entrepreneurs with work-based learning opportunities.
• Facilitate partnerships with private sector entities to support on-the-job training programs.
• Monitor and evaluate work-based learning initiatives to ensure quality and relevance.
• Advocate for workplace policies that promote women’s empowerment and gender equality.

• Develop materials and tools to enhance work-based learning experiences.
• Provide technical support and guidance to implementing teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Vocational Training, Business Development, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in work-based learning program design, implementation, and management.
• Familiarity with private sector engagement and partnership development.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Experience in gender-focused programming is an added advantage.
