Reports to: The Head teacher

Required Academic Qualifications and Experiences
• A Minimum of a Diploma in Either Education, public administration, Social Work, Business Administration or any other related discipline from a recognized Institution.
• Certificate in Basic Islamic training is an added advantage
• A minimum of three years’ professional experience in a related Field

Roles and responsibilities
• To receive all boarding students and confirm that each has the necessary requirements and, only authorized items are possessed.
• To ensure proper allocation of students to the dormitories taking into account classes & age.
• Ensure that boarding standards operating procedures are established, communicated and adhered to.
• To uphold discipline standards of all dormitory students according to the school discipline policy.
• Compiling monthly behavioural reports on each student and availing the same to the school administration.
• Develop and implement programs that would profitably develop the students during off school hours and weekends e.g. community work, sports etc.
• Monitor and ensure the attendance of all students to religious programs in the school with emphasis on the observation of prayers by all students.
• Develop and write monthly reports about the student boarding facilities and implement the recommendations from the report.
• Ascertain dormitory supplies & needs and make requisitions to administration.
• Ensures that high standards of cleanliness and hygiene of the boarding students and facilities are maintained.
• Ensure security of dormitories, class rooms and other buildings in the school by ensuring windows & doors are locked and ensure the safety of the students properties.
• Ensure that the students uphold Islamic values and norms while in the schools.
• Keep proper records of students’ information e.g movements (gate passes), roll calls, occurrences, discipline records among others.
