Position: Waitress/Waiter

Location: Kampala

Contract Type: Full-time

At Samula Julita Group of Companies Ltd, we aspire to be among the leading restaurants in Africa, and we’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team. As a Waitress/Waiter, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our patrons.

• Take orders from patrons for food or beverages.
• Check with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals, addressing any issues promptly.
• Collect payments from customers efficiently and accurately.
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables and ensure they are taken to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Serve food and beverages, including preparing or serving specialty dishes at tables as required.
• Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining to maintain a tidy environment.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A post-secondary diploma in Hotel Management or other related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong active listening and speaking skills to effectively communicate with customers.
• A service-oriented mindset with the ability to coordinate tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) software for processing customer receipts.
