Volunteers and Internships Opportunities

TNHCI is a young not-for-profit private organization headquartered in Uganda and works at the frontline of Global Health security issues and development interventions transforming ideas into action and actions to impact. We implement programs aligned to global health sector security and inclusive development by empowering communities in areas we work in to adapt to and sustain healthy behavior, while significantly contributing to country-specific health priority areas including HIV/AIDS, malaria, mental health, Climate, nutritional food security, WASH, child health, and reproductive health. We are seeking to recruit a team of Volunteer Health professionals and interns who share in our vision and are willing to grow with us over time. Two categories of team members have been identified.

1. TNHCI Health Enterprise Corps (30)- a group of young health professionals in the fields of nutritional food security, HIV/AIDS, malaria, mental health, Climate and environment, nutritional food security, WASH, child health, and reproductive health. The team will be treated to the training of trainers (ToT) before they are fully integrated into TNHCI. Qualification: Diploma or degree in health sciences, agriculture, community development, education, or relevant field. No experience is required for this position.

1. TNHCI Junior Professionals (5 positions).A management team composed of Human resources, Finance, statistics, project planning and management, Research, IT, communication, public relations, and Journalism. Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. Experience in working with non-profit organizations will be an added advantage.
