FINANCE DEPARTMENT
Position: University Bursar
Number of Vacancies: 1 (One)
Nature of Contract: Full-time
Reports To: Vice Chancellor
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Control income and Expenditure of University revenue for capital or recurrent expenditure;
• Management of the Bursary department;
• Coordinate effective use of all resources at the University;
• Update the financial regulations;
• Advice University Management on revenue generation, financial management;
• Ensure timely audit of all income and expenditures of the University.
• Custodian of all University funds.
Person Specifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Accounting & Finance/CPA or ACCA
• Ability to mobilize financial resources
• At least five years’ experience in a similar position in a reputable Institution.
