About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary UI/UX Manager to lead our design team in crafting seamless, intuitive, and high-performing digital experiences. You will own the end-to-end design process—from research to execution—while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Your leadership will ensure Soar delivers a world-class user experience that aligns with our business goals and delights our users. Beyond design excellence, you will build and mentor a top-tier team, establish measurable performance standards, and provide clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders. Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and scale a high-performing UI/UX team, fostering collaboration, creativity, and professional growth.
- Mentor designers, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement skill development programs.
- Define team KPIs (e.g., design iteration speed, user satisfaction scores, stakeholder feedback) and track progress.
Design Strategy & Execution:
- Own and evolve Soar’s design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all products.
- Lead user research, wireframing, prototyping, and testing to validate design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to align UX strategy with company objectives.
Performance Measurement & Reporting:
- Establish UX metrics (e.g., task success rates, usability scores, engagement metrics) to measure design impact.
- Deliver data-driven reports and presentations to leadership, highlighting wins, challenges, and opportunities.
- Monitor team productivity and output quality, ensuring deadlines and stakeholder expectations are met.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Present design updates, user insights, and roadmap progress to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Advocate for UX best practices and educate stakeholders on design thinking principles.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in UI/UX design, with 2+ years leading and scaling design teams.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design systems, complex workflows, and polished interfaces (web & mobile).
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
- Proven leadership skills—ability to inspire, mentor, and drive team performance.
- Exceptional communication & stakeholder management—can articulate design decisions with data.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in fintech, investment platforms, or property tech.
- Familiarity with KPIs for design teams (e.g., usability metrics, design debt reduction).
- Knowledge of user analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Amplitude, FullStory).
