Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting solar equipment, materials, and related goods to various project sites across Uganda, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company  trucks to transport solar equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
• Load, secure, and unload goods in compliance with company and safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of the  truck to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and fuel usage reports.
• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with the logistics and operations teams to coordinate deliveries.
• Ensure the safe handling of valuable solar equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid and up-to-date Uganda Driver’s License for heavy trucks.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven truck driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan road networks and traffic regulations.
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform minor truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of long-distance driving.
• Professional, reliable, and safety-focused.
