Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Truck Drivers to join our team. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to their destination. The ideal candidate will have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbed trucks, and box trucks, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Plan and execute delivery routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods while optimizing fuel efficiency and minimizing downtime.
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, performing routine maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any special instructions or requirements.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and hours-of-service regulations.
• Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy at all times when interacting with customers and the public.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of commercial vehicles safely and effectively.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards governing commercial driving.
• Excellent navigation and route planning skills, with the ability to use GPS and other navigation tools.
