Back.ground
The Government of Uganda has received a Grant from the European Union towards the Chase Poverty and Hunger Project under Development Initiative for Northern Uganda and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant for payments under short term contracts for Two [2] Transport Managers.
 

Overall Objective
The overall objective of the services is to support the National Agricultural Research Organization implement its activities under the chase poverty and hunger project in the Northern part of Uganda. .

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Driving vehicle for official duties and assignments
• Carrying out basic maintenance of vehicle and ensuring that the vehicle is always in good condition

• Reporting all technical fmedtanical faults to supervising ofiicer
• Ensuring the safety of the vehicle while on duty
• Adhering to all required traffic regulations and taking responsibility for traffic faults
• Good communication skills and team work

Job Skills: Not Specified

Minimum Qualifications and experience:
• A’ Level certificate of education
• At least 6 years of clean driving record and experience
• Basic mechanical and vehicle maintenance skills
• Certificate in defensive driving
• Valid driving permit

Duration:
The duration of the contracts shall be Forty (40] Months.
Age: Candidates MUST he below 48 years of age.

Job Education: A’ Level certificate

Job Experience: 6 years
