Transport Coordinator- Drilling & Completion Team
Location: Kampala, Lake Albert production installation base or other cities in Uganda if required.
Primary Function:
• To implement CNOOC QHSE Policy and Procedures, provide effective and efficient support to logistics services.
• To supervise and plan materials loading & unloading, infield transportation.
• To follow up with custom clearance, road transportation from Mombasa to Kingfisher, International freight.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for entrance and exit permit and tariff exemption procedures.
Prepare the import and export materials transportation plan and supervise the implementation.
• Responsible for cargo transportation and material handling, managing marine operation.
• Responsible for aviation service of personal movement between Kampala and site.
• Maintain and manage the handling equipment, sling and hand tools Develop on-going logistics forecasts: Support supply chain manager in reviewing and developing policies and procedures for in logistics management.
Develop scope, evaluate, and establish emergency contingency plans to support Logistics operations.
• Support Logistics team with coordination & monitoring of financial budget activities & projects.
• Identify changes and recommend solutions to improve processes and information integrity. Analyze operational requirements and develop concept of support plan and management tools to enable and assess implementation.
• Other duties assigned by the Logistics superintendent
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion, planning, management or the related.
• At least 5-year related working experience & 3-year the similar experience
Knowledge:
• Extensive knowledge of laws and rules of Custom and commercial inspection.
• Extensive knowledge of logistics and foreign trade process.
• Knowledge of declaration, import and export transportation.
• Familiar with transportation, loading/unloading safe operating procedures;
• Experience of oil E&P logistics practices prevailing.
• Familiar with all kinds of vehicle performance parameter, such as crane, truck, forklift, trailer etc.
