Summary
Reporting to the Director, the Projects Technical Lead will be responsible for provision of technical solutions and overseeing implementation of key projects by developing and applying appropriate tools in line with project requirements and client’s specific terms of reference.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following duties:
• Developing technical and financial proposals for key consultancy projects relating to mid-term reviews, baseline surveys, endline surveys, feasibility studies, business plans and other organizational development project assignments.
• Preparing bidding documents for tenders and expression of interest in services for consultancy services in our areas of expertise.
• Scheduling meetings with clients to discuss the project requirements, advise on the methodology and approaches to be used
• Develop and present power point presentations to the board on the capability and potential of the advisory group to implement the project.
• Develop project related documents including tools, budgets, work plans, progress reports and other relevant instruments
• Oversee data collection, entry, coding, analysis and interpretation of project findings
• Train and provide technical support to the project team on administration of technical projects
• Prepare preliminary and final reports in line with the agreed timelines
• Manage the project from start to finish, bearing in mind the project timelines
• Build and maintain positive relationship with clients
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, project planning and management or related field. Masters’ degree is a plus.
• Experience in developing technical proposals for feasibility studies, mid-term reviews, baseline surveys, endline evaluations or related projects is an added advantage
• Experience in development, implementation and evaluation of technical projects
• Good understanding of project management tools and report writing skills
• Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation reports
