Our Client, an International NGO, that is an independent child rights and humanitarian organization in Uganda wishes to recruit a Technical Advisor: Influencing, Communications and Youth Engagement

Job Title: Technical Advisor: Influencing, Communications and Youth Engagement

The Technical Advisor: Influencing, Communications and Youth Engagement is a member of the extended Country Management Team and also works directly with the Country Director and DOPSE&I to support on strategic-level Influencing and Communications. The job-holder makes an Important contribution to the design of the organization's projects, ensuring that any Influencing or Communication that is necessary for project success is factored into the plan and budget, and alligning project activities to the Country Strategy. Additionally, the role is responsible for leading high-profile campaigns, which have the potential to change mindsets and behaviour nationwide.

The Technical Advisor: Infiuencing, Communications and Youth Engagement will report to the Director of Programmes (Strategy Execution & Implementation)

REQUIREMENTS:

• A master's degree in any related field such as human rights law, International relations,
• communications/journalism, public relations, politics or social science
• Qualifications or experience in Development Communications are desirable
• Overall Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the International NGO sector
• with at least 7 years spent in strong Influencing and communications work
• Working with Young people: demonstrated experience in engaging and working with young
• people and Youth Including youth led communication and advocacy
