Job Summary: Under the direction of Director of Patient Experience, the incumbent serves as a Team Lead for patients, providers and staff and supports the operation of the department. The incumbent supports the supervisor with daily operations and supports interpreters in their duties and responsibilities to increase successful outcomes and patient satisfaction with the hospital. The incumbent will relay medical information between speakers of two different languages in compliance with all CNE system and hospital policies and procedures, supporting patient confidentiality, patient dignity and informed consent. Team Lead is responsible for clerical management of the schedules for all site departments, including assigning, monitoring and tracking records of requests for all 3rd party agency requests.

Specifications: High School Degree or equivalent with an approved certification in medical interpreting required. Must demonstrate proficiency as a medical interpreter in a healthcare setting. Experience demonstrating high level of interpersonal skills, both oral and written, analytical skills, organizational skills and effectiveness within a team environment. Must possess strong cultural awareness competencies, linguistic and interpreting skills and ethical competency. Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred. Must be able to travel between locations without limitations.
