Job Summary

To design, implement, and facilitate comprehensive training programs for educators, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver life skills, entrepreneurship, and digital citizenship education effectively. The role involves providing expert guidance, developing training materials, and supporting continuous professional development for teachers.

Job Description/Requirements

A) Training Program Development:

1. Program Design: Design and develop training programs for teachers, focusing on life skills, entrepreneurship, and digital citizenship education.

2. Curriculum Integration: Ensure training programs align with existing curricula and educational standards.

B) Content Creation:

1. Training Materials: Develop high-quality training materials, including manuals, guides, multimedia resources, and assessment tools.

2. Scenario-Based Learning: Incorporate scenario-based learning activities to enhance practical application of skills.

C) Training Delivery:

1. Workshops and Seminars: Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and webinars for teachers and school administrators.

2. Interactive Training: Facilitate interactive training sessions that engage participants and encourage active learning.

D) Support and Mentorship:

1. Ongoing Support: Provide continuous support and mentorship to educators, addressing their needs and challenges in implementing life skills, entrepreneurship, and digital citizenship programs.

2. Professional Development: Promote and support ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers.

E) Assessment and Evaluation:

1. Develop Assessment Tools: Create tools and methods for assessing the effectiveness of training programs and measuring teacher progress.

2. Analyze Feedback: Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions to identify areas for improvement and adjust programs accordingly.

F) Collaboration and Partnerships:

1. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with educational policymakers, school administrators, and other stakeholders to promote and integrate training programs.

G) Research and Innovation:

1. Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in teacher training and education.

2. Innovative Practices: Introduce innovative training practices and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.

H) Documentation and Reporting:

1. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of training materials, sessions, and assessment results.

2. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on training program progress, impact, and areas for development.

 
A) Educational Background:
1. Master’s degree or higher in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
B) Experience:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in teacher training, professional development, or a related area.
2. Proven track record of developing and implementing training programs for educators.
3. Experience in life skills, entrepreneurship, and digital citizenship education is highly desirable.
 
C. Skills:
1. Strong expertise in teacher training and professional development.
2. Excellent curriculum development and instructional design skills.
3. Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in creating and utilising multimedia training content.
5. Ability to analyze data and use it to inform program improvements.
6. Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills.
