JOB DETAILS:
• Department: Academics
• Minimum Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Kiswahili.
o Registration Certificate from the relevant professional body.

o Proven ability to teach Kiswahili at O-Level and A-Level effectively.

• Responsibilities:
o Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and instructional materials for Kiswahili classes.
o Teach students reading, writing, and speaking skills in Kiswahili.

o Promote the use of Kiswahili through creative activities such as literature, debates, and storytelling.

o Conduct regular assessments, provide feedback, and monitor student progress.

o Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment to enhance learning.
o Organize and participate in Kiswahili language clubs, competitions, and cultural events.
o Prepare students for national examinations by conducting thorough revision sessions.

o Submit certified academic papers, National ID, and relevant experience evidence.
o Attach recommendation letters from two recognizable referees, including one from an LC1 Chairperson for non-teaching roles.
