Job Summary: At Crowe Uganda, we are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead complex tax advisory, transfer pricing, compliance, and dispute resolution engagements.

As a member firm of Crowe Global, you will work directly with partners on high-profile assignments involving multinational groups, major local businesses, and tax matters before the Uganda Revenue Authority and Tax Appeals Tribunal.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead corporate tax, VAT, PAYE, WHT, and excise duty engagements.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation and audit defence.
• Lead URA audits, objections, reviews, and dispute resolution matters.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and develop junior tax professionals.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• CPA(U), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years’ tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and URA practice.
• Proven experience leading tax audits, assessments, objections, and advisory engagements.
• Preferred: ADIT, postgraduate tax qualification, transfer pricing expertise, and multinational/cross-border experience.
