Job Summary

To manage overall talent acquisition strategies and initiatives by providing end-to-end process support to hiring managers and HR staff in identifying recruitment needs, recommending recruitment strategies and actively sourcing talent to meet organization needs in line with Baylor Uganda policies and procedures.

Overall Responsibilities
  1. Workforce planning
  • Support line/hiring managers and HR business partners in assessing staffing requirements/recruiting needs and developing recruitment strategies and plans.
  • Develop annual workforce plans to guide recruitment plans and activities
  • Maintain up-dated information knowledge of constantly changing environment in the Uganda marketplace relative to the sourcing and recruitment of qualified professionals
  1. Recruitment process management
  • Act as advisor to Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners on recruitment processes to determine job requirements, identify effective recruitment methods and strategies, and attract right fit candidates.
  • Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including sourcing, initial assessments, interviews and assessments, reference and background checks, offer negotiation and contracting
  • Identify and implement creative and effective recruitment methods, including social media channels, targeted advertising, niche job boards, and networking to attract right fit candidates
  • Manage candidate screening, interviewing, and assessments so as to select best suited candidates for roles while ensuring an engaging and memorable candidate experience.
  • Maintain effective relationships with critical talent pipelines, internal business partners, and external vendors,
  • Ensure continual capacity building of key managers and HR staff in interviewing and recruitment skills
  1. Recruitment marketing
  • Develop and implement recruitment campaigns for passive talent
  • Develop and maintain active relationships with pipelines of talent for current and future employment opportunities at Baylor Uganda.
  1. Induction and Probation
  • Coordinate with HR manager and organize induction and probation of all new joiners.
  1. Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare staff files for Baylor-Uganda permanent staff and Locum staff at entry.
  • Conduct Quality Control (QC) at the first stage of file creation in line with the Baylor-Uganda HR Manual.
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
  • ·     A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial/Organizational Psychology or in a related area·     At least four years' working experience in handling high volume recruitments in a reputable organization or reputable Non-Governmental Organization.
  • ·     A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial/Organizational Psychology and any related degree.
  • 4 Years Relevant Experience
