BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

Supply of underground armored copper and Aluminum cables under framework contract.
Procurement Reference No: UEDCL/SUPLS/2024-25/10154

1. The Uganda Electricity Distribution Limited has allocated funds for supply of underground armored copper and Aluminum cables under framework contract.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of the above supplies.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
4. This is exclusively reserved for reservation schemes to promote the participation of local providers in public procurement.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given here: Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Plot 37, Nakasero Road, 5th Floor UEDCL Tower, P.O. Box 7390 Kampala-Uganda.
6. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at (7) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000. The method of payment will be by depositing money on UEDCL bank account and presentation of a banking slip.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (7) at or before 07th February 2025 at 11:00 am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of:
   Ugandan jobs
   • LOT 1: UGX 89,449,966 (Uganda Shillings: Eighty-nine million four hundred forty-nine thousand nine hundred sixty-six only).
   • LOT 2: UGX 10,000,000 (Uganda Shillings: One Hundred Thousand only).

Bid security must be valid until 30th August 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (7) at 07th February 2025, 11:30 am. There shall be no pre-bid meeting.
