Supply of Hand tools for Students in a Workshop Setting tender at East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP)

East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) LTD (“EACOP LTD”) invites experienced and reputable companies to express their interest in providing goods and services for Supply of Handlers. For Students in a Workshop Setting to the EACOP Project.

The EACOP Project involves the construction and operation of an underground and cross-border pipeline to transport crude oil for export to international markets. The pipeline will run from Kabaale, Hoima District in Uganda to the Chongoleani peninsula near Tango in Tanzania. The length of the pipeline is 1,443 km, of which 1,147 km will be in Tanzania.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE (SPECIFICATIONS)

EACOP is seeking a credible supplier to supply equipment (listed Work tools) to be used by our Field Operations Trainees. Items required include Sliding hammer puller, Gear puller with bearing separator, Gasket cutting board with cutter sets, Universal press and pull sleeves kit, Hydraulic Jack 101, Hydrostatic portable hand pump, Feeler gauges dual marked inch and mm, Belt tension gauge, Gasket sheet, Spiral wound gasket with inner and outer ring DN80-150Ms, Manual tubing bender for pipes 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 inches, Top and Die Set for Metric and SAE threads, Digital Multimeter, Hart field communicator 475, Digital pressure calibrator, Process Calibrator and Manual pressure and vacuum calibrator.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Companies or organizations expressing their interest are invited to document their request with

• • Certificate of Incorporation, Trading license and other relevant certification
  • Proof of registration to the National Supplier Database (NSD) maintained by the Petroleum Authority in Uganda.
  • Proof of registration with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) and Tax Clearance Certificate for the latest year available.
  • Compliance with the Petroleum Midstream National Content Regulations, 2016.
  • Experience, performance, and capacity to supplier the required equipment in a timely manner
  • Audited Financial Statements for the last three years (Proof of Financial capacity to execute the scope)
  • Proof of signed Anti-corruption, Anti-bribery, code of conduct, Compliance and Human Rights policies.

Statements of EOI should be no more than ten (10) to twenty (20) pages long.
All Expression of Interests should be submitted in English Language.

NOTE: EACOP IID will review and assess the documents provided by companies that have expressed interest in accordance with this EOI and conduct evaluations based on internal criteria to determine which companies will be included in the list of pre-qualified companies. Only the pre-qualified companies will receive, by signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), an invitation to bid as a continuation of the call for tender process. EACOP IID reserves the right at its sole discretion to make the decision to select or reject a company and maintain its decision without having to give reasons to the company concerned.
