BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

HONGERA SAANA UGANDA is a Presidential Mainstream Body for Peace and Development working with Presidential Initiative for Wealth and Job Creation to promote agricultural mechanization and the production and export of maize. The call for bids is for the procurement of agricultural inputs and services under the Small Holder Agriculture Program Phase II at the designated centers in Greater Masaka, Greater Busoga, Greater Lango, and Acholi Sub-region.

Subject of Procurement

LOT 1: Supply of Agricultural Inputs

1. Maize seeds (50,000 kg).
2. Soybean seeds (60,000 kg).
3. Coffee seedlings (1,000,000 seedlings).
4. Fertilizers:
   • Urea (500 tons)
   • DAP (500 tons)
   • Organic manure (200 tons)
5. Herbicides and Pesticides:
   • Herbicide (Glyphosate) 20,000 liters
   • Pesticides (20,000 liters)

LOT 2: Supply of Machines and Equipment

1. Tractors (150)
2. Combine harvesters (50)
3. Maize milling machines (25 dual-purpose machines)

1. The bidding document shall be inspected from the office of HONGERA SAANA UGANDA, PLOT 3 PILKINGTON ROAD, 1ST FLOOR, SUITE 5.
2. A non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 shall be paid to the following account:

3. Bidders must submit a bid security of UGX 5,000,000 (Five Million Uganda Shillings).
