ADDENDUM TO THE BID NOTICE FOR SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, CONFIGURATION (INTEGRATION WITH EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE), TRAINING, COMMISSIONING AND SUPPORT OF A MANAGED DETECTION AND RESPONSE (MDR) SOLUTION FOR UNOC: UNOC/NCONS/24-25/00363.

Reference is made to the above procurement that was published by the Uganda National Oil Company Limited (UNOC) in the print media on 22nd March 2025 and 27th March 2025 in the East African and New Vision Newspapers respectively.

This is to inform all interested parties that:

The Bid submission date for the Supply, delivery, installation, configuration (Integration with existing infrastructure), training, commissioning and support of a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution for UNOC that was scheduled for Friday 25th April 2025 has been extended to Tuesday 27th May 2025 at 10:00am Ugandan Time. The time for bid submission remains the same.

All inconveniences are highly regretted.

Additional Procurement Details:

• The MDR solution must provide 24/7 threat monitoring, detection, and response capabilities
• Solution must integrate seamlessly with UNOC's existing security infrastructure and SIEM systems
• Vendor must provide certified cybersecurity professionals for implementation and knowledge transfer
• Proposed solution should include at least 12 months of post-implementation support and maintenance
• Bidders must demonstrate experience with similar deployments in the oil and gas sector
• Evaluation will consider technical capability (60%) and financial proposal (40%)
• Shortlisted bidders may be required to conduct product demonstrations
